🎓 What Does “School Before School” Mean?
At 3L Academy, “school before school” means we go beyond traditional daycare by intentionally preparing children for kindergarten — socially, emotionally, and academically — during their most critical early years. We focus on: Building strong foundations in literacy, math, and problem-solving Developing social skills, independence, and confidence Introducing structured routines, learning centers, and enrichment activities Exposing children to a variety of subjects including STEM, art, technology, and movement

Alexis Loving | Founder of 3L Academy
Alexis Loving is a passionate educator and nurturer at heart. After beginning her journey in healthcare, she discovered her true calling in early childhood education. She earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia State University and has since spent over six years in the classroom — mentoring teachers, leading teams, and designing hands-on, engaging learning experiences. Driven by purpose and love for children, Alexis founded 3L Academy to meet a growing need in Chester, Virginia. The goal is simple yet powerful: to prepare children for school before school — providing a safe, enriching, and joyful environment where every child can learn, laugh, and lead.
